Hello everyone as it is with so many others i am new to this blog thing but let me assure u i am not here to tell u about my eveyday life in never ending boreing detail. I want all of u to realize that nothing will ever change in our industry unless we change it. We are suppost to be professionals at what we do. Are u doing your part or just rideing down the street trying to entertain yourself??? You need to realize that everything u do reflects on each one of us. It's like a body of water . When someone screws up the ripple in the water gets to all of us in due time. I myself don't appreciate being made to pay for other peoples misstakes. We can be together in this industry and do what it takes to GET R DONE as the old saying goes and have a lot better n easier lifestyle and a way of makeing a liveing in the process.

It does'nt take anything but common sence for most of it. Realise what u are driveing and treat it with the respect that it deserves witch will in turn save u money on wear n tear n fuel n most of all TROUBLE. Yes theres times that we all haft to push it n hussel to make it all work but don't let that become the norm for yourself. Slowing down a little when u can will only save u money. I'm not a fan off being a legal eagle or anything like that but some basic common sence has saved me a lot of trouble through my 27 years of cross country driveing experiences. Yes I've had a lot of hard times . No money n a truck held together with bailing wire. But i had to get my head straight about what had to be done to GET R DONE !!!

We don't need anymore GOV interferience in our industry. We don't need the BLACK BOX !!!! What we do need is to stand together as 1 and do small things that will in short time make people realize that we are not machines but liveing beings trying to make a honest liveing for ourselves n our family's .. If any of u were around years ago when the ended that mandatory 55 miles per hour u should remember how we all joined in force agienst the state of INDIANA and their refusal to let us run as fast as the cars. All we didwas stop buying anything in INDIANA or when we could not haul anything to or from INDIANA. It was no time until the truckstops n transportation people that depended on our habits of stopping n spending money there n helping them haul their stuff out n bring their stuff in were screaming at the state !!!

Well guess what happened. The speed limit got changed !! We can do the same thing with any of these other problems out here. No one has the power we have to control what goes where n who gets what n who has business n who does'nt like we do. Listen to me drivers it does'nt matter if your driveing a 200,000 dollar pete or a single axle day cab workin for a chicken farm you can do your part. Until eveyone quits say'n well what i do won't make a difference or I ain't gonna do that because some other driver ain't gonna do that it will never work n we will all haft to live with this hassel n treatment that we do. My trucking life has improved dramaticly since i just simply put some common sence rules into effect for myself n realized what i could n could not getaway with n one more little factor to realize what I was doing and the potential of my actions n especially driveing habits that were only hurting myself n everyone else.

N last but not by any means the least to have pride in what i do n to try to conduct myself in a proffessional manner at all times . ( THAT MEANS NOT CHASEING THAT FOOL IN THAT SUBARU THAT CUT U OFF DOWN THE OFF RAMP ?? ) Lets do so good things together about our problems LIKE THE INDIANA THING. We are all out here in this together. Lets help each other.. The boys in CANADA can do it ?? The ones across the water do it ??? WE CAN DO IT. So the next time yr turnin that wheel think about it your in the drivers seat on all of this n it can either get a hole lot worse for u or it can be a lot better. LETS GIT R DONE
