I entitled this segment “Dis-orientation” because that’s what today was all about. I thought joining the Army was a lot of paperwork; Uncle Sam has nothing on CR England. There were a least 50 documents to fill out and sign. And just when you thought it was over, they brought out more. Drug tests, physicals, integrity tests, and eye tests were given throughout the 9 hour paperwork nightmare.
I hardly slept last night and had to get up at 4am. I set my phone alarm, my alarm clock and asked for a wakeup call. But none of that was necessary as I woke up about every half hour.
4:30am I had my first cup of coffee down and came back to my room to clean up.
5:15am Down stairs to wait for the bus,
5:30am Board bus and head out to training.
6:15am Arrive at training location for brief orientation before paperwork mayhem.
3:15pm Board bus and come back to hotel
Well, I'm going to go hit the jacuzzi (sure glad my wife suggested I bring swim trunks, thanks Hun). One thing is for sure, I won’t have any problems sleeping tonight.
P.S. My roommate is still A.W.O.L. maybe I'll get to keep the room to myself. I am saying nothing to anyone here!!!!

Sorry you are sick truckerdoc, hope you are well soon. The new room has nicer carpet, the old carpet made me want to wear sandals. My new roommate didn't respond well to having a roommate and made me feel unwelcome. I went back to the old room for awhile to think about how I was going to deal with this situation. I finally decided he was just going to have to deal with it. He had been by himself for a week and is one week ahead of me in training. When I moved my stuff over he was gone and I eventually went to sleep. He came back around 10:00 last night and was in a better mood and felt bad for his earlier actions. We stayed up till 11:30 talking then went to sleep. Yes there is still a refrigerator. Thanks for the comments Doc, I will be in touch with you soon.

Hey, WARMAN! This is your Uncle Fester and not only am I Sheryl's co-host, I will be watching over you as you progress through the "paces".
Don't you LOVE paperwork? I live for it!
Here's a piece of advise, keep ALL your paperwork "dress-right-dress" at ALL TIMES.
If you need any help, you let me know and I'll do whatever I can to assist you.
With 15 years of this behind me and 5 of those pulling reefers, I think that I'll be able to be of help and hopefully, keep you out of the kimchie.
