well it's Thursday night and supposedly I will be leaving Milwaukee on Friday morning. But we all know how shipping schedules can be.
So today was productive. I got my ass out of bed and headoed over to the bank. Since we sold the dogs house out on the coast of California we had a little bit of money to do some banking with. The money has to remain reasonably liquid so I can acquire a home here in the frozen tundra.
I would probably rather gone a few more blocks up the street and purchased a new Harley. apologies to riders oof other brands, but as I learned hauling bikes around the country a true biker will respect you for being a rider, not for your ride. Maybe we should apply that to other facets of our lives.
Some of us are long haul, some of us are regional, and some of us are home every day. Whatever capacity we are in as drivers we need to respect all other drivers. Cars, semis, bobtails, delivery drivers, motorcyclists. All share the road equally and the burden of safety. Keep that in mind
Here in Milwaukee I live right next to I-894 at the junction of I-43. What's with the straight pipes??? Hello at 3 AM I find it rather annoying. Are these guys compensating for shortcomings elsewhere? As I drive this intersection every time to Chicago and beyond I don't even need a Jake. It's all about learning to anticipate the road.
Well enough for now.
Keep Safe.
