future truck driver

Currently I am in school and I kinda was trown into making a contract with a company I haven't spoken with as of yet.

You see, I am very poor or should I say "economically challenged" at the present and a truck driving school offered my schooling for free. I accepted.

I get to school and hear horror stories from the company I am going to work for and my contract is to be for a year. But everyone who has commented are students as well. Teachers will not comment on this company but they will on others. Am I in trouble?

There is no doubt in my mind that this (truck driving) is what I want to do. The question is, Should I search for another company to pay my way? (I have no credit) and still be in the same spot where I started...naive? or, Should I demand answers?

My recruiter said that he would have my company recruiter contact me. Weeks later nothing yet. I has been weeks because just my luck when I went to change my lic to this new state my name showed up in five different states as suspended. Not my full name, different social, very different height and weight but the great state of Ohio still says I need to have my name cleared from these other states. I am awaiting these states letters of clearence. Already have recieved four...Arizona is thinking about it I guess.

Pleas if there are any CREngland drivers out there please tell my what you know about the company and how it works. I am terrified. Iwas even told that when a student got there they told him "Hope you brought a sleeping bag" then sent him to a hole in the wall motel room where he roomed with 4 others and slept on the floor for a week before the found a truck to put him in. This cannot be true...can it?
