I AM CURRANTLY A STUDENT WITH CONVIENT TRUCKING AND I HAVE ROUGHLY 1 WEEK UNTIL COMPLETION...I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYONE THAT CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO AFTER I COMPLETE THIS TRAINING...i.e TRUCKING COMPANIES THAT WILL ACCEPT NEW STUDENTS. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH A DECISION AND INFO ON SOME RELIABLE COMPANIES THAT DONT PLAY GAME WITH MY FUTURE....[/b]

Most of the bigger companies hire students. My best advice is to find a company close to home. That way it will be easy to get home for home time. And bigger isn't always better. The small to medium sized companies will know you as a person,not a name or number on a computer screen. Pay and benefits are generally about the same. Whatever company you go with stay with them for at least the first year. It's a safe bet that you will want to quit and go drive for someone else during that year. If you know somebody that's a driver,see if you can call them when things get frustrating out here. It helps to have someone to talk to that isn't from the office of the company you drive for. Just remember the first 3 to 4 months behind the wheel alone are the hardest.
