What a mess at W Memphis Petro

Just how stupid can one company be?

Let me relate to you how stupid the West Memphis Petro, Idle Air, and some unknown wanna be songwrite/singer can be.

On June 3rd, 2006 at 10pm at the West Memphis Petro this idiot decided it would be the best place and time to do a photo layout for Idle Air.

Now keep in mind at 10pm in W Memphis most of the truckstops are full to puking. We had already been to the Flying J looking for a parking spot which there was none to have. So we decided, since it was hot and muggy we'd slip over to the Petro and hook up to the Idle Air, which we are "gold" members of.

We went through their little toll/pay booth, went down the main through fare, and what did we encounter?? At least 4 of this GM's trucks and a bunch of rum dumbs running around acting like this guy was Alan Jackson or something.

We and a bunch of other trucks sat and sat waiting for them to get these trucks lined up for the photo's. All the time WE were getting cussed at to move so that the other trucks behind us could get parked. Of course these other trucks were far enough back they couldn't see what was going on AND they did have the little sawed female chirping that they would only be a "little" longer.

What got me right then in there is the fact that only 1 of his trucks was actually pulled into a space correctly. The others were backasswards of the parking stripes and still having problems getting the trucks backed in.

THEN when you read the side of their trucks this GM advertises his self as being a truckdriver with over 1.3 million miles. Uh huh, if that was true......then why did he think that at 10pm in W Memphis would be a good time to screw up the whole parking lot?

Now your going to love this, the next morning, what did we spy in the next door motel parkintg lot? None other than HIS trucks. Hell Idle Air sponsors him yet they stay at motels? Wow now THAT'S how to advertise and promote your business isn't it?

Oh and to be fair. He did give me $100 to shut up and stop telling the other drivers just exactly what was going on in the Petro. AFTER he copped his arrogant attitude not only with me but several drivers that really did know who he was (and I haven't the slightest idea who is) and wanted to meet and greet with him.

Come on Petro and Idle Air.........give us a break, this man sure isn't what I call a good candidate for sponsorship.
