Contact spoonseven: Email: About spoonseven: New/Older Driver. At the age of 53 years old I realized a life long dream to become a truck driver. I joined the army in 1969 at 17 years old, retired in 1999 at the age of 46 and continued to work as an Army civilian for another 7 years. I encouraged my younest son to go to the Schneider Driving Academy, then once he was over the road, quit my 60K a year job to join him. We have now been teaming since February 2006. My wife (still in shock at my mid life crisis) and I have been married 35 years. We have an older son as well, who is in the Air Force and a pround member of the United States Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team. Not a pilot, but one of the crew chiefs. Last year he was with jet # 4 (Slot) and this year he is with the #8 Jet, with is the public Affairs jet. We have three Grand Children; one girl with our oldest and 2 boys with our youngest son. |
