Hello from my hospital room in Lansing Michigan. I have been here for 3 days now. I was driving when I suffered a mini stroke. I managed to get the truck pulled over and then called 911. They refer to it as a TIA which stands for Transient Ischemic Attack. In other words this one is a warning that I may likely suffer a major stroke within the next year.
It has messed up my sense of balance.The good news is that it seems to be just a short term problem. Yesterday I could only make it a couple of teps before having to grab the handrail. Now I can walk the halls with very little trouble. How long I will be off from work will be up to the doctors, the test results, and how well I recover.

Godspeed RH. You and your family are in our prayers. Glad to hear that it sounds like everything will be OK but if you don't start taking care of yourself, I'm going to round up the guys and we'll all show up to but some bootprints on your backside; starting with my size 13. =-) Take care of yourself. -TT
