It looks like I may have to sit home all weekend! They are calling for a light dusting of snow starting Saturday night and last all day Sunday (6 to 12 inches!!!).It just breaks my heart to think I may have to stay home an extra day and go snowmobiling!! If there's time I may think of all the poor souls that have to work in it! I think everybody knows that I would rather be in the truck trying to get down the road. To those that believe that last remark, let me know because I may have a deal you just won't be able to pass up. I couldn't believe it when they said it will hit Wisconsin over the weekend instead of during the week. I'm usually in the truck trying to get someplace when that stuff hits. That last big one to come through found me in Missouri with a whole 9,000# in the box.The roads were not a safe place for me to be that week.Icy roads and high winds makes for treacherous travel. It took me 3 days to travel from Kansas City to Chicago. Hard to make money like that. So anybody heading up into the midwest keep your ears listening to weather reports. They are talking a mixed bag for Chicago. Rain freezing rain and rain and snow mixed. Doesn't that sound like fun? Be sure to pack a lunch if your headed this way for the weekend.
If anybody gets stranded any where near Green Bay let me know. That way I'll know what area to avoid while on the snowmobile!! Just kidding. If anyone is stuck between Green Bay and Oshkosh on a weekend, leave a message on here and we can work something out to meet up. That goes for anytime of the year. During the summer we can always spend the day on the water with my boat or I can take people out on the ice during the winter. Alot of people from the warmer areas of the country generally have a problem with that one. Driving a car out onto a lake to go fishing is crazy. I like taking them out during the sturgeon spearing on Lake Winnebago. You sit in a shack with no windows or lights and stare down a 3' by 5' hole in the ice and watch for a Sturgeon to swim by and then try to spear it. People will walk into the shack, see the big hole cut in the ice and head out the door and for shore.
Everybody be safe out here this weekend. This storm sounds like it is going to be another nasty one. I'll be home later today and then get ready for the fun to start.

Uh-huh. You want to go icefishing, fine. Just leave me out of the equation. We do go up to Two Rivers quite a bit. We haul out of Fisher-Hamilton. My wife and I love that area because it is so neat and clean, that is in the summer time because you can't see the streets in the winter time. Yes, I have been there during the winter.
