Sorry For the rant but im getting Pissed

first of all I have to say that there are some stupid people on the roads that do not need to be driving..

In the past three years I have been in 3 accidents non of which were my fault back in July of 2004 I was rearended by another truckon I 70 thru downtown Columbus Ohio this guy was not paying any attnetion and slammed me in the rearend at 50mph It destroyed the trailer and took the hood on my truck filpped it up and layed it on the ground busted both hinges and it slid across the interstate..

Then in December of 2005 I had a young girl pull out on front of me she was making an illegal left turn out of a bank I was in my personal vehicle when this happened I had two witnesses to vouch for what happened when the law showed up..

now for 2006 I was traveling on a two lane state highway in my car when there was a cro that had crossed the double yellow line and was heading at me head on now it was either hit this person head on or run off the road so i took the off road option.. this asshole didnt even bother to stop to see if i was okay or not..

So now that I am looking for a driving position again I am having no luck because of all these accidents. Keep in mind that i have provided police reports to every compamy I have applied to but still no luck.. I know surley there are compnaies out there that would hire me.

WTF is holding me up from getting another driving job?

I hear ya!!! I personally see so much stupidity on the road and my drive to work and back is only 8 miles each way! I just went on the road with my sweetie for the first time and could not believe what I saw. And believe me, I know that was no where near the worst of it. Don't give up - keep trying and something good will happen. As an FYI, have you tried Schneider National? Let me know if you want him to check into the driving record aspect of it and whether or not they will consider the fact that none of the incidents were your fault. Good luck. To all you bone-headed morons on the road, PAY ATTENTION!!! You are not the only vehicle out there and if you get in the way of a big rig you will lose!!!!!!! Give them the room they need - they have just as much right on the road as anyone.

There are companies out there that will even hire a driver with a DUI so do some digging around your area. I would avoid large companies like the plague. I think the best companies to work for are medium sized companies. They are out there. As for morons on the road I'd have to agree that its to easy to get a drivers license these days. Its funny, in a not so funny way that people will kill themselves to get 10 feet in front of you. I as a driver see it all the time. I had an accident and it went to the review board and my boss went to bat for me and I got it proved non-preventable. Thank God for that, he's a hot-head but he is fair and a former driver. Every time I hear a driver say I am going to work for (Schneider,Swift,Knight,or CR England) I literally cringe. VM-out!

I know where you are coming from. I've been a couple of accidents my self. True there are a great number of idiot drivers out there. As a trucker myself, I see all kinds of goofy things. Also I see myself as lending to the situation, when I let other drivers, control my attitude with their idiocy. Thus it is up to us to drive for them as well as for ourselves. We are the Professionals!
