Paccar has a good lease program, so does Mercedes. Companies like PRIME, and the rest of the low or no down lease companies are not a real lease. To test this ask them if you have to stay contracted with them or can you go to another company and take your leased tractor with you. The answer is no you cant, because its their tractor your just making the payment. Everything has a price and sometimes the less you pay the more it costs. Its typical for them to run you hard at the beginning of the lease, and if you complain they simply start leaving you sit wait for loads, when you cant make your payments they take the tractor back and simply put a new unsuspecting driver in it. And the truck never really gets paid for the company has a continuing source of revenue. Be very careful..
