The owl photo is part of a collection I have shot on two occasions. He and his mate are living at the truck stop in El Centro, California.
The mallards are from a collection on a travel piece I am working on about the Oklahoma City National Memorial (the 4/19 bombing). These same ducks also spend part of their time around my home terminal about six miles away.
The sunset is part of my "America At 65 mph" collection. I am trying to learn how to make e-books that I can offer from my (www.hkbphoto.com) website.
Even though my income does not quiet justify it I may soon go into semi- retirement so that I can work full time as a freelance travel photojournalist. I am considering this because trucking full time and doing the rest of the things I do is just about to do me in physically. Either that or I am just flat lazy: ).
