I received a message from someone a week or so ago asking me if I had found a new job yet. Well, I cannot find the message now, but - no, I have not found a new job yet. The people I work for now keep me so busy : ) I do not have time to look for a new job. But, here is what I am looking for: I want employment that will allow me to move to southern Nevada, or somewhere out there. Reno area would be ok. My reason for this is that I want to retire out there in a few years, and I want to photograph the western United States, and - well I just like the area. I think I would be better off living in a rural area. However, I will live in the city, as I understand that this is where today's money is. After 30+ years alone (for the most part) in the cab of a truck, I am not a sociable animal. But, when I think about this, I wonder if I should find a local job in Las Vegas, and make myself learn to be sociable. Years ago I was quiet good at it. If all of this sounds like I do not know what I want it all comes down to being able to get away from everyone from time to time. This new employment that I am looking for does not have to be in the trucking industry. I learn quick.

These images were taken yesterday near Ruidoso, New Mexico. I have been told that this is a winter roost for turkey, deer and geese. The first I knew of it was back in September, 2005 when I saw at least 300 turkey in one field.
