Just thought I'd say thanks to you who have posted...

A little info about why I'm driven to drive...

My stepfather Charlie was a "Mothertrucker" He spent over 30 years on the road. He drove himself to the hospital in September of 2005 and found out he had the big"C". He passed at the end of the month.
Before that we used to talk daily about me being his second seat.
I spent the entire 1998 on the road with him, and have missed the road. GOD knows I miss him

I love the trucker lifestyle. Plus I can finally make some money!

I am a complete newbie to trucking. I did however pass all my permit tests! (first try) I can't belive I did it. Now on to the next big step, driver training... Not sure what will happen, but I know that if I put enough effort into my studies, I'll do just fine. I have a great supportive wife, I hope I make her proud...
