Write Queen Needs Your Help.

Freda Douglas had an autobiographical-history book “Cherish the Past” published in 2002, has her second book of fiction “Winds of Change” ready for the printer and has her third book on the front burner. She also wrote a weekly personal essay column for 17 years. Freda lives alone with her cat Jewely and loves to hear from her readers.

I have been writing articles and blogs lately, not knowing whether you, the reader, are pleased with what you read, or even if I’m even writing about what you would like to read about.

Therein lies my problem and why I need your help. My reason for writing is not to please me, but to satisfy your need for good reading. I’m happy no matter what I write because I like to write. To know my readers are happy with my writing is worth money in the bank to me. (It better be since I don’t get paid for doing it)

I am going to first tell you where you can read my writing. I post them on www.justarticles.com, www.exinearticles.com, and www.articlecity.com and I recently started a blog and it is located at www.hwyblogs.com., then press on my account on the left.

I’d like to know who you are and what you do so that I can better serve you.

What are your hobbies? What kind of work do you do? Do you like what you do? If the right opportunity came along, would you change what you do? Husbands, does your wife work outside the home? Would you like to bring her home without getting in a financial bind?

Are you married? Do you have a family still at home? Is your family grown and out on their own? Do you have grandchildren?

What are your fears and concerns about work, money, the government, politics, and/or the market place?

In other words, I want to know what you think. What and who you are.

One thing I will not get involved in and won’t acknowledge is anything to do with religion (I hope you have that but if you don’t you have a problem that I can’t or won’t solve for you), or hateful attitudes (I can take criticism better than most) but keep your hateful attitudes to yourself.

You can write to me at gloryb2u@fredadouglas.com. Rest assured I don’t outsource any of my work, but if you want an individual answer I will try to do that, but this request is to get material
for future articles. Dear Abby I’m not.

Now to keep you current with my daily goings-on you are invited to read my frequent blogs at www.fredabd.hwyblogs.com. You are also invited to visit one or more of my business websites. They all tell you basically the same thing in different format and perspective. I am giving you a choice because we all like different methods when it comes to learning. www.mymangosteen.com/fredabd tells the story in video and prose. (Teaches you the same way when you join.) http://createmysuccess.com/marc/webinar tells the story by voice and picture. (If you call Marc tell him Freda sent you). www.fredadouglas.xpowerpro.com tells the compensation plan the best.

Write Queen writes from her little piece of heaven

Freda Douglas had an autobiographical-history book “Cherish the Past” published in 2002, has her second book of fiction “Winds of Change” ready for the printer and has her third book on the front burner. Write Queen Writes from Her Little Piece of Heaven

Well, I am in my fourth month as a resident of Alabama, settled here like I was born here. Maybe that is because the terrain hereabouts reminds me of my native Pennsylvania. In reality it is because my adoptive family surrounds me with such love as I haven’t felt since my husband John died in 2001. I know there have been a few people who cared for me in the last six going on seven years, such as James who spoiled me something fierce and couldn’t ever seem to do enough for me, like Gary, my medical careperson who never tried to pull the wool over my eyes and who was always honest with me or Bess, who always sent me postcards no matter where Jim and she went and usually arrived home before I ever received the cards. And there was always Jewely, but she is a story unto herself.

But there is no greater feeling than having love showered on you despite your faults, your age and your eccentricities.

The countryside around where we live is absolutely beautiful. I have watched out my window in the morning to see the trees bare, gradually coming to life, and now they are practically in full grandeur. We had a late frost a few weeks ago, and that stunted, but didn’t kill, their beauty.

Linda has two bird feeders outside my window. One is for the bigger birds and one is for hummingbirds, The hummingbirds are no larger than a large bumble bee, but do they ever eat.
Last week the feeder went empty so quickly Linda thought she might not have screwed the bottom of the feeder on tight enough. She checked it and finally decided the little birds had big appetites.

Twice we have gone sightseeing after church. Jason drives a truck and has found many spots to show us. Jason is just like a homing pigeon. Once he’s been a place he can always find it again. He makes a great tour guide.

Properties are well maintained in our neck of the woods, and most have lush green, manicured yards. Surprising to me, most of the homes are single level, some one and a half stories, but very few taller than that. Of curse those with money very often have what I call mansions which are breath-taking, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable in such opulence.

Do I miss my Florida friends? Of course. You don’t live in a place for more than 20 years without a tug in your heart for those you left behind. Do I regret resettling to Alabama? No, I don’t. Am I happy here? You are happy where you are loved, and I am loved.

Facts You Might Find Interesting.

A maxim I often use in my business is ‘monkey see, monkey do.’ What do I mean by that? Your downline (I prefer the term business partner) will do exactly what you do, so it’s important to watch your P’s and Q’s.

When you register a new person I’m sure you suggest to them they should place the first order with at least 2 cases ADP but do you tell them why? Do you explain just what ADP means and why they should be on it? Do you even know yourself? If not call me at the telephone number or email address given below and we need to talk.

Did you know the IRS considers the purchase of one case of product signifies for personal consumption and as such is not tax deductible? Whereas the purchase of two or more cases of product signifies business and cost for all of it is a tax deduction?

Did you know, if you drive to your J.O.B. and make even one stop to leave off a tape for business purposes the cost of gas to drive to work is tax deductible?

Did you know, if you work for somebody and they provide you with a 401K for instance you must declare that as income on your 1040, BUT if you are self-employed the IRS lets you ‘hide’ up to $40,000 of 401K before you file?

Are you aware that corporate is finally getting tough on those unscrupulous distributors who in their greed to make profit rapidly have been selling the product, which is supposed to be purchased through a sanctioned distributor or the company, through such places as auction houses, unsanctioned websites etc?

I remember several months ago the daughter of a man who wanted to use our product for a serious illness was told by an individual that he would sell her dad the product at wholesale with no shipping and handling. She convinced her dad to buy it that way. When he told me the amount of his check I sat down with my calculator and found out he paid more from him than if he had bought it directly from the company.

I applaud the company for attempting to protect their people in the field.

Now I briefly want to tell about a clinical study conducted by Dr. Vaughn Johnson, a board certified physician from Spokane, WA done on 47 volunteers and told to yo in Dr. Johnson’s own words.

“*Dr Johnson did a mini clinical trial on the effect of Original Mangosteen juice on a marker for systemic inflammation; Highly Sensitive C- Reactive Protein (hs-crp). A level of 1.0 to 3.0 is considered normal. Greater than 3.0 is considered high risk

*Method: Take blood samples from 47 patients. Determine HS-CRP Levels. Administer 2 oz of Original mangosteen juice once per day. Continue for 30 days. Take blood samples and measure HS-CRP again.

Two ounces was selected as the dose so that two bottles would last one month.

*Results:* All of the 38 patients who returned for the follow up test lowered their HS-CRP levels into the normal range. 9 patients did not return for their follow up test. The following table lists typical results

* Sample # Initial 30 Days
*
1 55.0 2.7
2 26.0 1.3
3 12.6 1.8
4 8.4 2.2
5 6.8 1.1

*Comments:* The above five samples were selected for illustration purposes because after the completion of the test *all of these individuals* stopped taking Original Mangosteen and took other mangosteen based products instead.

*Other mangosteen products:* All five returned to their initial high risk CRP levels after using the other mangosteen products. In fact, sample 2 increased to 28, i.e. two points above the initial value. Dr. Johnson then put each of these patients back on Original Mangosteen juice and all of the CRP numbers came back down.

Dr. Johnson concluded that all mangosteen supplements are *not created equal” and that the whole fruit puree, Original Mangosteen formula produced the results he has witnessed due to the synergy of all of the Xanthones and other components working together.”

I encourage all representatives to show this article, performed and written by a Board certified physician, to all prospects questioning the veracity of your product.

Write Queen Writes

WRITE QUEEN WRITES by: Freda Douglas

You just wouldn't believe the trouble I had getting this column
'on the air'. The proess wouldn't have been so tedious if I weren't so technically illiterate, but I am, make no
mistake. Finally I found a webmaster who was willing to build a website for me without me taking out a bank loan.

I moved to Alabama the 4th of February after 23 years living in Florida to share living space with my adoptive family and their 6 dogs and my cat Jewely. I didn't have any difficulty adjusting, especially after having lived alone for 6 years, but Jewely was a different story. She was not used to dogs much less people, and spent a lot of time under my bed clothes.

As I write this, though, she is well adjusted, sleeps either in a
condo that "Aunt" Linda bought her, or on a sheepskin bed under
the TV or in bed with me.

We live in a rural area on the top of what people who live in flat
country would call a mountain. Every morning I go out on the enclosed porch of my specially built handicap accessible apartment to say good morning to the world. God has been so good to me.

You'll never know what I'm going to write about because most of the
time I don't either, but I promise you that I will make it interesting.

I would appreciate if you would forward this to your family, friends, and co-workers if you like my site and encourage them to sign up too.

If you don't like the site you can always tell me at gloryb2u@
fredadouglas.com. This website will be a continuing work for me
and I will always value and welcome your comments and criticism.

That's it for now. Remember, God loves you and so do I.

Watch out for the shark.

Watch Out for the Sharks

I needed to have a website to be able to capture opt-in names for my primary (offline) business Xango. I tried three times to build my own website, but not being’ technically literate I was unable to do that. I wouldn’t discourage my readers from building their
own website if they have the skills but it does take skill.

I started reading things on the Internet that might help me. I read the sales page for a website that a man would build me FREE. (Beware of the word FREE. There is nothing free in this world but conversation.) I had a desire to put my personally written newsletter on my website so when I read that after the website was built I could make any changes that I wanted, I jumped in with both feet. (First mistake).

A condition of this FREE website was to join the affiliate programs the webmaster recommended, which I did after reading the individual sales pages, but there I got into more trouble.

I went along with the suggestions for buying traffic, but when I checked my traffic(11,000 hits) there were no names, just IP numbers. I realized the person receiving the stats knew exactly who made the hit by the IP number. The IP number didn’t do a thing for me except frustrate me. It not only frustrated me because I didn’t get any leads. but because the hits cost me a bundle.

RED FLAG! At this point I hadn’t made a dime, but paid out plenty getting into affiliate programs, including a host. Did I stop there? No, I didn’t. I was told to be patient, but God didn’t endow me with much patience.

By the time my mentor suggested I get out before I wasted any more money, I had learned these things.

Don’t expect an answer to an email to support
you wrote asking for help because the chances of an answer are nil to none.

Be aware they are going to appoint sponsors for your various programs and you have no choice. If you want to change sponsors they’ll ignore you.

I sincerely thought I was going to persevere when I bought leads which weren’t to start until the 5th of the next month, but when I resigned at the end of the month so I hadn’t even seen a lead, a refund was refused because leads are not refundable.

I could go on. I could tell you about the host company ($39.95 monthly) who ‘forgot’ to send me a welcome letter which would have told me how to make those changes I wanted to make in the first place. By the time I realized that and asked for it, I was so disgusted I barely read it and quit the whole system the next day.

I have written this not to discourage you from trying to make money on the Internet, but rather convince you to read the fine print and between the lines and remember nothing worth having is ever FREE. And be sure you can swim because there are sharks in them thar waters.

Hodge-podge of thoughts and observations

In my search to make money on the Internet I have paid as high as $97 for an ebook, which I thought I would learn something from but it was just old rehashed information and I have gotten free ebooks that told me far more, to FREE ebooks.

About two weeks ago I was lucky to have some stranger offer me a free ebook - Success in 10 steps - put out by Mentoring for Free -
written by Michael Dlouhy.

Perhaps you have never heard of Michael, but that shouldn't stop you from reading his book. It didn't stop me, and I'm very glad
it didn't.

The book is about relationships but not the usual hoopla. This is a book that anyone can read and get something of value from it. I
believe that so sincerely I am offering it you FREE. Download and read it the compliments of Freda Douglas by clicking here.

Do You Have a Health Challenge?

I started network marketing in the mid 1980’s, We did rather well with it. Looking back, though, over the years, the methods were archaic and not conducive to increasing your residual income.

My husband and I went to all the meetings which were weekly at the time, but that soon became detrimental to my husband’s health. The meetings were held in hotels. While there was no smoking allowed in the meeting room, in order to get to the meeting room a person had to go through the lobby where smoking was allowed and you were subjected to smoke. My husband was very allergic to smoke.

I kept on in the business for a while, after my husband had to stop attending meetings, but soon realized it was no fun by myself even though I had built relationships, but relationships did not take the place of my husband,

After leaving that business I dabbled in other businesses, but soon learned my sponsors were interested in just two things - collecting a residual check from my purchases and promoting their ‘other’ businesses.

I had been in and out of more NWM businesses than I could remember when my husband and I bought our own therapeutic business in 1999. We operated that as a telephone business, doing everything by ourselves. We were quite successful with that business until my husband was diagnosed with cancer and died just weeks following diagnosis.

I tried to carry on following his death but was unable to emotionally so I ran a ½ price sell, sold my stock and closed my business.

Three years later, during which time I did nothing except read and sleep, I was invited to join Xango, a brand new nutritional company with one nutritional consumable product. Against my better judgment I decided to join after my sponsor-to-be sent me a bottle of mangosteen juice to try, and, even though the doctor had to give me cold medicine in pill form because I hated liquids so much, I actually liked the taste of mangosteen juice.

That year 2004 I went to convention in SLC. While there I met my upline, the corporate team and I learned two basic things. People in Xango don’t care whose group you’re in. If they can help you, they will. The other thing I learned is Xango is a company of people helping people.

Fast forward three years. I have been taking six ounces of mangosteen juice a day. I have osteoarthritis of the neck, fibromyalgia and myalgia and no longer take pain pills. The doctor cut my cholesterol medication by half. Many years ago I had rectal surgery that left me in need of a stool softener which I no longer use. The best result I have had? I am 74 years young, and for the first time I have fingernails.

Now I can’t tell you what, if anything, mangosteen juice will do for you. I can only suggest you try it on faith like I did three years ago. I know I am passionate about my products and the ability to share it with people who have a health challenge.

Do you have a health challenge? Call me. Maybe I can help.
