My cousin, Lynn (lenutt), just started posting on this blog suggested I sign up too. He and I have talked before about what we can do to help the truckers on the road, and since I am a priest, he thought perhaps from time to time someone might want to have a chaplain's input. I have been a priest over 30 years, and worked as a pastor, teacher, prison chaplain and hospital chaplain as well as helping out at local miltary bases and posts.
I just wanted to say hello, and let everyone know I am here if you want to talk or have a question.

I was driving on the David Letterman here in Indianapolis (I-465) heading home and saw an overturned semi in the northbound lanes. I have no idea what happened, but certainly hope the driver is okay and that he or she didn't hit anyone else. One thing I have done since I was a little kid is to breathe a prayer for those involved in a wreck that they're all right and that they will recover soon. Be careful out there folks.

I am having trouble trying to post both the comment about the highway wreck and a new post I wanted to do for Fathers' Day. Every time I do so it comes out as a comment to the original.
