Thoughts of a familyman
Just what I'm thinking

Just another day?

As I sit here setting up this blog account I recieved a call from my wife of 7 years. The topic of "getting by" came up and I am having trouble with the concept.

It seems to me that just getting by is a cop out. Coasting along the road with no power to push us along. What ever happend to the desire to make oneself better? And why when someone dares to do just that does it scare everyone else around us? I see this in some of my kids, in the school system, the work force, politics, everyware. Have we become so self satisified that medeocrity is the norm, and when someone dares to break out of said medeocrity others feel threatend?

I say its time to move ahead! Its time for myself anyway tp lead my family to new hights. God said of all of us who follow His word, " I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me". Its time for a moral revival in our homes. Its time for the men of this great nation to stand up for propriety in our homes, work places, schools, and governments.

Im done ranting for now.......Who knows what tomorrow may bring?

I have to say that i agree with the poster that this world has come down to just let children do what they want and their parents will keep them out of trouble. How often do we hear of a parent that starts a fight with a coach because his child wasn't able to be put in the game. This really shows our children that they don't have to have any respect for them selfs or any one else. Thanks for the post I thought I was the only one that felt this way. God Bless You and your family, keep you safe on the hiways and biways.
