truck wife woes

time

The time seems to fly by anymore.............Here it is mid June already. Lost some of my flowers to a late frost; only the coleus they can't take the cold, but I had brought them thru the winter so it was a little upsetting to lose them. Went out the other day and was looking where I had them because I had put some crawling petunias in there to fill the space....damn if something didn't eat all the leaves and flowers off them. I have another petunia bed on the other side of the driveway and they have not been touched...very curious. My beautiful black iris are in full bloom even if the hard rain we had did drive them to the ground, they are so unusual. I'm still waiting for my ixia to get big enough to mulch. It also looks like I am going to have a massive amount of my mini hollyhocks.
I hope our warm weather starts soon, I've had to turn the furnace back on this month....global warming...huh?
Today was my sweetie's birthday and I called him to say happy day....I hope I live long enough to enjoy some home time with him when he can retire. I know it won't be a long time because he is so much younger than me but I do hope we have some years of just us.
=^::^=
