truck wife woes

Been a busy week. I had to get the Legion Newsletter out this week, which is not too much but getting all arranged for the post office is still a work in progress to finish getting organized.
Had my 6 month check-up Wednesday and I am in excellent health; well, duh! There is one small problem; my face is broke. I have to see a plastic surgeon next week, ha ha. There is a spot on my chin that looks like a small abrasion but it has been there for 6 weeks and no matter what I have tried it won't go away. My doctor is pretty sure it is a cancerous lesion and it will have to be cut off. But it is no big deal.
Weather has been weird for February. Wednesday when I went to the docs I only wore my silk jacket and tonight it is really cold and very windy. We had a lake effect snow just pass thru and we aren't even close to a lake.Guess that's it for now.

I got a heart scratch lottery ticket on Sunday it was a loser. Ha ha!
Had top go get blood test today, which means fasting, God I hate missing my breakfast screws up my whole day. As many times as I've told them at my doctors office that regular band-aids burn me they once again put one on my arm and by the time I got home and got it off my arm was burned. It is only five miles away.
Can you tell I've had a bad day?
Oh well my sweetie will be calling later and he always makes me feel better.

Why is it the older you get the less time there is to get to the things you like doing the best?
I've been spring cleaning for the last two weeks. No sense in leaving things to the last minute. Ha HA! I don't know how this house can get so dirty with only one person here 90% of the time. The problem with leaving it go is then my allergies really get bad.
Had to design a new newsletter for our American Legion. It came out really well even if I do say so myself. The commander was happy and some of the members have complimented me so I guess it is okay.
Had Ranman home for an extra day this weekend; which was nice. He had a doctor appt. so he took an extra day for that.
I'm getting itchy to get outside and work in my flower beds. Looking at some seed catalogs today and they had the most beautiful yellow lilac. I gotta have it. My two favorite colors are #1 black and #2 yellow. I have black tulips and I have the most gorgeous black iris. The flowers are monster size and just too beautiful for words.
I have to make some cards to send out this week. Got to get them done or some people are going to think I forgot about them.
Off to other things for now.
