New To Driving.

I new to driving and looking for some good companys to drive for. I've applied at CRST, Prime, Priority, Trans AM, and TMC. I called TMC and they said the didn't except my application, and they wouldn't give me a reason. What are some other good companies to apply to?

First question is did you go through a driving school? If not you need to go with a company that has a school or pay your own way at a driving school(I personally would prefer the latter as then you don't owe a company a year or two of driving at extremely low pay). Don't believe these places that claim company paid training. Your low pay rate will more than pay for the course. I worked for Priority for a short time and I wouldn't waste my time with them. Might try Schnieder. They have one of the best training programs around. Your best bet is to find a company with a terminal near home. Makes it alot easier to get home. TMC is very finicky about equipment.So I doubt they hire newbies.

Dig..Dig..Dig...Talk to drivers..Take some with a grain of salt...There are companies that hire rookies who pay decent but they usually don't advertise because they don't have to..I would run away from any company that advertises too much..Do your homework..I don't know where you live but I'd bet there are some decent companies to work for that won't screw you over..Vm-out!
