Hi, I am new to trucking.I am about to graduate from truck driving school in a couple of weeks.I need help choosing which company to work for. I live in the Stone Mountain Ga area,but was thinking of moving to NC or VA. I got family out there, anyway I've talked with several trucking company's. PAM, WARNER, & McElroy. So my question would be as a rookie how do you choose the right company to drive for & which one(s) should I stay away from?

Welcome to the trucking Industry, You will love it when your getting paid to drive, always keep safety in mind and never let other drivers in traffic get you excited, just do the right thing and you will never get tickets, don't let people bulldog you into a bad move. hey, ive been driving for 8 yrs.havent found a good one yet.im sure there is one out there,you just have to search for the best deal.money hometime.if you have no family well then almost any of them will hire you.hoping you will stay out for 3 weeks or so.its a life of a dog man.good luck to you,,,

there's nothing wrong with starting at a big company. A big company will run you to death but you will get lot's of experaince.Do this for a year every driver out here is looking for something deffernt.You just have to find what's best for you.
