Concerns In Trucking

Hi, Welcome to our Blog.

My name is Buck and My wife is Marty, can,t forget Trouble our cat. We have been leasing since january and are enjoying every minute. We have noticed things that concern us and would like to share with everyone in hopes of getting some feed back and some other peoples concerns about the trucking industry.

Trucking is a hard job and not everyone is cut out to do it, but you got these big companies that are training people in 2-3 weeks and putting them out on the road in a big truck. Some people might be an exception and are meant to drive, but others should,nt be driving a pair of tennis shoe,s but thier out here on the roads.
A doctor is not going to go do a open heart surgery on somebody after 2-3 weeks of training.
Then when trucks start crashing an killing people they want to blame all truckers and change Hours Of Service, Speed limits, etc.
Plus these companies that put such a tight deadline on the pick up/delivery that you don,t have time to stop for fuel, to use the restroom, eat, nothing. So now heres a new driver hurring to get to a delivery so thier not late an BOOM, you got an accident. These are some of the things that concern us, Trust me there is plenty more. Anyway, give us your thoughts and concerns.
