My college friends and I looked forward to summertime, when we do cross-state traveling. During the final weeks of the summer, while working on our essays, our thoughts got distracted by images of a long road hugged by rugged landscape that urban folks like me yearn for. It's even better if there are mountain range in the distance, but it's the fleeting sight of a solitary truck traversing the highway that we fondly remember.
My eyes are fixed if the colors are dark and shiny; they look impressive during early morning or late afternoon. But it doesn't matter if the colors are dull. I can't imagine a highway without a truck. It kind of breathes life into any place it passes. Even if the place is scenic, it would look barren without a truck passing by.
