Trucking Regulations

[Comments] [Send Article] [Improper]

I've always wondered what truckers think are the smartest and the dumbest trucking regulations out there. There are truck bumper height regulations, hours of service regulations to prevent truck driver fatigue and more. Anyone have an opinion?

I am a '24'year driver no accidents no tickets,i dont ride peoples bumpers and i dont drive like a moran.if you got tuff and made it to where the people who ride you too close and cut you off this is just some of the problems we face as 'good drivers'I pull very flamable liquids and I cant count the times I look in the mirror and see a big truck or a car as well so close I cant see their headlites this is very dangerous and I think the laws should be changed so ride too close and get a big fat fine and do it three times and loose your driving privlidges. It is not only truck drivers it is cars as well.Futther more quit hiring these idiots from so called driving schools and pay the 'good drivers' a liveable wage and this would stop.I am one of the good drivers that is going to get out of it because everyone looks at the truck when there is a wreck when we are not the only people on the road. What about us'you want to limit speed do it for the cars as well see how happy everyone is.
